Stories

Callum's Palisman

There was another way for a human to gain magic, carving a palisman. Dark Magic users used to kill Palisman and drain their magic to enact dark spells. Callum is given some Palistrum wood from his father believing he can make use of it. Using his artistic skills Callum carves a palisman and it manifests life, it looks like a bison but has six legs, It matches his nature for the sky. The little guy is very loyal to Callum, and he begins practicing magic the right way. Callum/Harem

Chi Magic

It is said humans found a way of using Dark Magic, taking magic from other things and using it as they please. It was seen as the 7th type of magic, but when there is darkness there is also light. Unintentionally when Dark Magic was forged another was born. Chi Magic! Callum worked hard and studied Chi Magic!

Moon Shadow Wolf

Callum wants to help protect his (step)father. Claudia is working on a method to stop the Moon Shadow Elf Assassins. Using dark magic Callum is transformed by the power of the moon. He becomes a Moon Shadow Wolf, not only is he able to become invisible in the moon light, he's able to see what cannot be seen and with beast senses. Callum's father is furious, because Callum has no idea what's been done to him, he'll never be human again.

The Serpent Prince

Claudia is often messing with all manner of dark magics, including potions. Callum was messing around and he ends up getting snake oil on him. This causes Callum to be cursed, becoming a lamia. Her father thinks this is great, that Callum can be an asset to the kingdom as a weapon. Becoming a snake monster wasn't all bad this connects him to the natural magic of the world.

Language of the Titans

Callum wanted to know magic, but he didn't want to learn Dark Magic. It was believed humans couldn't use magic except dark magic. There were rumors of a tribe of humans guarded by a powerful beast known as the Titan. Through it's language humans were able to use magic. Callum uses his art skills and is able to use the Titan's Language.

The Elf With No Magic
Hunter is an elf, but unlike other elves he has no primal source. When he hears of a human who tapped into a primal source he has hope, as that seems impossible. Callum works with Hunter, and they discover a new source. Beast Magic, a power Ezran shares. Callum/Hunter/Ezran/Harem

Snake Weapon
Soren mentions that Callum is desperate to save his father, that he’s willing to do anything. Viren gets an idea, and using a magical snake he turns Callum into a weapon, a snake monster, granting the boy a connection to the magical forces. They have little time but Callum picks up magic quickly. His father is furious but even though Callum asked for this, this wasn’t what the king wanted. Viren uses dark magic to drain energy from the Dragon Egg, he wants to create a weapon that can slay dragons and elves alike. With the throne empty, who will become king is up in the air. Some have heard and seek to take the crown by marrying one of the two princes Callum is the prime target. Mark of the Star Fox
Soren brings Callum along on a magical creature hunt for Claudia. While hunting magical creatures Callum saves a Star Fox one of the rarest of creatures. He becomes marked by the critter awakening a Star Arcana, Callum gains fox traits, and the magic of the stars. Kitsune Callum/Harem

Mark of the Sun Fox
Claudia takes Callum out to search for magical creatures, he saves a Sun Fox and the critter gives him a mark awakening Callum’s arcana and granting him the power of the sun. He is able to transform into a 9 tailed fox, one tail for each flame magic. Viren doesn’t know how this is possible, but there is no reversing it. Primal Mage
Callum thought he wasn’t special, but as it happens his father’s lessons were a clue to his destiny. Callum is a primal mage a being lost to history. A human who was capable of performing Fire Magic, Air Magic, Water Magic, and Earth Magic. A fallen star was said to have ended this mage, out of fear. Callum is the next Primal Mage the enemy of the Fallen Star.

Bat Weapon
Viren twists words and tricks Callum into becoming a magical weapon to protect his father. Using a Lunar Bat, he infuses the essence and spirit into Callum turning him into a werebat. He can drain magic from others, hypnotize and put others into deep trances and illusions. Aravos sees Callum as a potential threat, so demands that he be eliminated before his awakening. Callum’s father was a poet and artist, he saw a beauty in the world others didn’t feeling and treasuring each breath he took. Fae Guardian
Elves weren’t the only magical beings in Zadia there were also the Fae. Pips was curious about humans, and nearly pays the price for it, but Callum saves him and the two form a bond. Pips doesn’t know if Callum can learn magic but he’s willing to help him try and protect him as much as he can. Callum/Pips/Harem

Tiger Bodyguard
A man known as Mercenary was seen as a monster, a beastman of Zadia. He didn’t know magic himself, but his parts could be used for dark magic. His life was a nightmare until Callum came into his life, he didn’t see a monster he saw a man. He became the prince’s bodyguard, loyal to him above all else. Bottom Callum/Mercenary/Harem

Star Touched
Callum remembered a lot of his father’s poems and views on the world. Including a special kind of rune. For some reason Callum has star magic, as evident by his spell Living Poltergeist. He can infuse his consciousness into an object and control it, be it a suit of armor, a sword, or a book.

Primordial Force
It is said in the ancient days the Force of Light split itself among the primal forces. This is seen as a mockery as the Dark Side refused to divide and instead take from the primal forces and use them to enhance the wicked power. People seem to believe that the Force turned it’s back on humanity to favor the elves, but this was a lie. Callum/Harem

Sunfire Elf
Ash is a Sun Fire Elf, wishing to see the world, he ends up traveling to Zadia, but is caught by humans. Callum sees him and sees he’s scared and confused. The young prince helps him escape and hides him. Things only escalate as Moon Elves attack the castle. Ash helps Callum fend off Rayla, and when he learns the dragon prince is alive, he helps them take the egg back to the queen. Callum/Ash/Harem

Swamp Elf
Sokka is a Swamp Touched Elf, a group of elves who have a connection to the bog and swamp arcana, able to manipulate plants and water, but specialize in poison. He fights with fans and wearing the traditional swamp elf garb. He crosses paths with the group and helps them out. Sokka/Callum/Harem

Half Sky Elf
Aang is the love child of a sky touched elf and a human. He has a sky arcana. He believed the egg still existed and has been looking for it. Coming across the Moon Elves, he begs them not to kill the king. When the egg is found Aang helps the gang escape and move towards. Aang/Callum/Harem

Half Sunfire Elf

Zuko is the love child between a human and a sunfire elf. His father burned him as a mark of shame. Zuko fled from the land. Harrow finds him and can't bring himself to harm the innocent child, even if Viren wants him dead. He's raised in the Kingdom able to do fire magic. Callum and him become best friends and maybe more. Callum/Zuko/Harem

Half Earth Elf
Haru is a love child between human and elf, as such he was rejected by both sides. Nearly killed he’s found by Harrow and taken in becoming Callum’s friend and guardian. Haru can perform earth magic, which gives hope to Callum a human can make a connection with the arcana. Callum/Haru/Harem

Frost Elf
Sokka is a Frost Elf, a rare tribe of elves who are connected to the Snow Arcana. They were a tribe of elves nearly eradicated by a fire dragon. Injured the elves made it to Zadia and Harrow took them in. The Winter Lodge became wintery year round. With the moon elves coming to kill Harrow, Viren wants him to call on the Frost elves to defeat the Moon Elves. He refuses but does send a letter letting them know what’s happening and asking them to protect his sons. Callum/Sokka/Harem

Last of the Chi Elves
Aang is a chi elf, one of the lost Arcana. He doesn’t agree with the war, and sensing a disturbance in the force comes to Zadia to see if he can help. Viren sees this as an act of war. Aang simply says its not he’s one of the last of the Chi Elves. With his power he can awaken the magic of others. Callum/Aang/Ezran/Harem
